Vico d'Elsa is not only rich in history and art, it also boasts the SottoVico Garden, an enchanting green space that offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. This garden, featuring towering cacti and various other plant species, is passionately cared for by residents and is a haven of tranquility where nature and art come together.
The main greenhouse, measuring 200 square meters and about 6 meters high, was opened in 2008. Fully automated and with winter heating, it now houses an extraordinary variety of plants from all continents.
Amidst the flowering plants and hedges, one can discover sculptures and art installations that give the place a magical atmosphere, making every walk an experience suspended in time.
